Letting it Go

Everyone has gone through something difficult at some point in their life. We are always grateful for the day we can finally put it behind us and move on. But at what point do we let it go? Far too often I have heard “let it go”. How can you let go of something that you feel you’ve never really dealt with? Sure, you survived the battle, sometimes even the war but did you deal with it? Did you scream about it? Confront it? Lay it all out where it began… did you take back control of what possibly destroyed a part of you for so long?

If not.. please tell me how do you just let it go? How do you go on and never be affected by it again?

I only wish I knew.
